How are our Private Tours?
Our Private Tours are very funny and entertained so that you enjoy the tour along with your family and/or your group of friends in your own language.
Our Private Tours always include your transportation but with prearranged arrival and departure times (12 hour-duration time), namely, you must respect the schedule stated in this website and by your Tour Guide in relation to the Tour you acquire. We propose an itinerary, in case you wish to modify something you can do it but taking into consideration that your tour must last a maximum of 12 hours.
What can you tell me about the Weather Conditions during the year? What is the best time of year to vacation in the Mexican Caribbean?
The Yucatan Peninsula features tropical weather that may be considered strong but tolerable, especially in Spring and Summer (from mid-March to October) with an average high temperature of 33° C (91.4° F) and an average low temperature of 18° C (64.4° F) in the center of the Peninsula (Chichen Itza). On the Northeastern part of Yucatan (Mexican Caribbean), an average high temperature of 31° C (87.8° F) and an average low temperature of 21.5° C (70.7° F).
The best time to visit the Mexican Caribbean and the Yucatan Peninsula is towards the end of the year (from November to February) when we enjoy really nice weather conditions because temperatures are not so high, having an average high temperature in central Yucatan (Chichen Itza) of 29.5° C (85.1° F) and an average low temperature of 14.8° C (58.64° F); our average high temperature on northeastern Yucatan (Mexican Caribbean) is 29° C (84.2° F) and the average low temperature is 18.3° C (64.94° F) during these 4 months. This Mexican Caribbean season is especially nice if you want to get away from the cold winters!
Honestly, late Summer and practically the first half of the Autumn season (late-August, September and October) are not very recommendable for vacationing in the Mexican Caribbean and the Yucatan Peninsula due to poor weather conditions. We have many intense, but brief showers. Due to these climate circumstances, most tourists do not feel like touring, the weather can be intimidating and in the end they decide not to do any sightseeing. What’s more, late August, September and October make up the riskiest period due to hurricanes throughout the Caribbean.

What can you tell me about safety in the area?
Answer: Resorts in Mexico are very well safeguarded and the Mexican Caribbean and the Yucatan are no exception. Actually, the state of Yucatan where Chichen Itza is located is considered the safest state in the country due to its exemplary model Police Corporation. However it is not advisable to leave the tourist spots and speedways or roadways that make up your touring routes. Do not wander in areas that are far away from touristic points such as the outskirts and some neighborhoods in Playa del Carmen and Cancun because you may be subject to robbery and violence; do not wander either in the mangroves or in the jungle (Yucatecan Sub-tropical) around Tulum, Coba, Chichen Itza and the Cenotes (Sink-hole waters) because it could become a very hazardous adventure where you will undoubtedly meet extremely dangerous animals such as rattle snakes, fer-de-lance (a venomous pit viper), crocodiles, felines such as jaguars, pumas and margays, aside from nasty insects which can be poisonous and very toxic plants. The terrain in mangroves and all over the jungle is extremely hazardous because you can get stranded easily and very quickly. Without special survival techniques, it is impossible to survive. On top of everything, the heat is very strong, especially in Spring and Summer.
For example, at archaeological sites and aquatic parks, there are boundaries for tourists. These places are very well marked with a “No Trespassing” sign. These boundaries are for your protection.
For those who love to play in the ocean, thimble jelly fish may represent a risk to your health. Since they stay near the seashore they can cause allergic reactions, especially because they are difficult to spot. We advise you to avoid swimming the 2nd, “3rd” and 4th weeks of April.

As you may be able to tell, this is an Italian restaurant. The locale is small, comfortable, neat, clean and the staff are personable, kind and attentive. Service is fairly quick and you are served at the appropriate time. You can really tell that the staff care about customer satisfaction and seek to provide you with the best service possible. The food is extraordinarily delicious and the prices are quite attractive. It is definitely not an expensive place for having lunch or dinner. There is a large variety of succulent Italian courses and of course, Italian wines. Romeo Trattoria Pizzeria features an authentic Italian cuisine due to its Italian owners. You can’t miss it! Marisqueria Las Brisas
Marisqueria Las Brisas is a Mexican seafood restaurant. It is a mid-size, comfortable, neat and clean place. They strive to offer a quick and efficient service to their customers so you are served in a timely manner. They have a large variety of luscious courses that can be combined with appetizing sauces (TIP: Please inquire if the sauce of your choice is spicy or not, as some sauces may be too spicy for unaccustomed to chile spices). Drinks choices range from delicious fruit water (different flavors with a pleasantly rich, sweet taste) and sodas to different beer brands. Its cuisine style is local to the Mexican Caribbean region, the Mexican Caribbean.
La Brocherie
If you like French cuisine, then La Brocherie is the place for you. La Brocherie is owned by Fabian an established French restaurateur. Aside from serving succulent courses, the décor is very neat and clean, with a warm and minimalist atmosphere that you will enjoy. The waiters will treat you with the utmost courtesy and care and are always just an arm’s length away. Its cuisine is mainly based on the typical French herbed roasted Chicken combined with popular Mexican ingredients. You can’t skip the flavorful paninis.
